Board Secretary

I was born and raised in East Austin. I attended high school at the new Anderson high school but would love to have had the opportunity to attend old Anderson. Once out of high school, I attended college at Austin Community College and from there transferred to Texas State University (formally known as South West Texas State University). I am a faithful member of Nineteenth Street Baptist Church with Pastor M.C. Walker. I sing tenor in the New Spirit Choir and serve on the New Members Committee. I am a proud mother of 3 children one of which is a very active participant in EAYF. Currently I am a voluntary member of the Diversity Council w/Teacher Retirement system of Texas and have been so for almost 2 years. I was a team mom for Jr. Midget Cheerleaders in 2006 and a team mom for Pee Wee Cheerleaders in 2007. I am currently employed full time with the Teachers Retirement System of Texas and sell real estate during my spare time.

My future educational goal is to earn a masters degree in Finance. My future career goal is become a very successful Real Estate Broker.
